I then removed trailing white space from math/tgmath.h, support/tst-support-open-dev-null-range.c, and sysdeps/x86_64/multiarch/strlen-vec.S, to work around the following obscure pre-commit check failure diagnostics from Savannah. Both aarch64 and nios2 also requires to export __send and tt was done previously with the HAVE_INTERNAL_SEND_SYMBOL (which forced the symbol creation). All __send callers are internal to libc and the original issue that required the symbol export was due a missing libc_hidden_def. So a compat symbol is added for __send and the libc_hidden_def is defined regardless. Checked on x86_64-linux-gnu and i686-linux-gnu.

The changes are: 1. Remove send from auto-generation syscalls.list on the architecture that uses __NR_send. 2. Define __NR_send for architectures that supports it. It was done instead of defining in default kernel-features.h because current Linux practice for new ports are to implement only __NR_sendto [1] and it will require adding new kernel-features for ports that do not require it (aarch64 for instance). 3. Remove __ASSUME_SENDTO_FOR_SEND_SYSCALL and decide to use __NR_sendto for send generation based on __ASSUME_SENDTO_SYSCALL. There are no direct recv, send, accept syscalls available on s390. Thus recvfrom, sendto, accept4 are called instead of the socketcall by defining __ASSUME_*_FOR_*_SYSCALL macros. See recv.c, send.c, accept.c in sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/ folder. The socketcalls in syscalls.list for s390-64 are removed. They were never used on s390x. * Remove socket.S implementationAdhemerval Zanella2015-05-221-0/+32
This patch removes the socket.S implementation for all ports and replace it by a C implementation using socketcall. For ports that implement the syscall directly, there is no change. The patch idea is to simplify the socket function implementation that uses the socketcall to be based on C implemetation instead of a pseudo assembly implementation with arch specific parts. The patch then remove the assembly implementatation for the ports which uses socketcall (i386, microblaze, mips, powerpc, sparc, m68k, s390 and sh). I have cross-build GLIBC for afore-mentioned ports and tested on both i386 and ppc32 without regressions.
