| | | | | | | Add the new constant MREMAP_DONTUNMAP from Linux 5.7 to bits/mman-shared.h. Tested with build-many-glibcs.py.

* Move MREMAP_* to bits/mman-shared.h.Joseph Myers2018-10-011-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The MREMAP_* flags are identical between bits/mman-linux.h and the hppa bits/mman.h; thus, they should be in bits/mman-shared.h instead to avoid unnecessary duplication. This patch moves them there. Tested for x86_64, and with build-many-glibcs.py. * sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/bits/mman-linux.h [__USE_GNU] (MREMAP_MAYMOVE): Do not define here. * Linux: use reserved name __key in pkey_get [BZ #22797]Igor Gnatenko2018-02-071-1/+1
| | | | | _key is not reserved name and we should avoid using that. It seems that it was simple typo when pkey_* was implemented.

* Linux: Implement interfaces for memory protection keysFlorian Weimer2017-12-051-0/+28
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This adds system call wrappers for pkey_alloc, pkey_free, pkey_mprotect, and x86-64 implementations of pkey_get and pkey_set, which abstract over the PKRU CPU register and hide the actual number of memory protection keys supported by the CPU. pkey_mprotect with a -1 key is implemented using mprotect, so it will work even if the kernel does not support the pkey_mprotect system call. The system call wrapers use unsigned int instead of unsigned long for parameters, so that no special treatment for x32 is needed. The flags argument is currently unused, and the access rights bit mask is limited to two bits by the current PKRU register layout anyway. * Linux: Introduce <bits/mman-shared.h>Florian Weimer2017-11-241-0/+39
This header file enables sharing of portable declarations and definitions across all Linux architectures, including hppa (which does not use <bits/mman-linux.h>). Reviewed-by: Carlos O'Donell <carlos@redhat.com>
